Boulestin 90th Anniversary Menu

To continue the celebrations of  the 90th Anniversary of the opening,  of the original Boulestin Restaurant in 1927,   we have a new menu for you to enjoy, throughout March and April!

There are some fantastic dishes, such as our ever popular Œuf en Gelée to start.  There is also Assiette de Poussin and Roast Cod with a Hazelnut & Parsley Crust.   The three course menu is £29.50 per person*, and includes Coffee or Tea, and warm Madeleines.

We have a fantastic bar menu which contains small plates perfect for sharing or for those who prefer a lighter dining option.

Dishes include Dashi Consommé, Tofu, Girolles, Baby Vegetables, as well as Gin Cured Gravadlax. There’s also delights such as Octopus, Chorizo, Potato, Red Peppers, Capers, Fried Egg, and  Basque Sirloin, Gremolata, Cauliflower, Almonds.

Our Prix Fixe menu is also available in the bar; two courses £26.50, and three for £29.50.  Fantastic value for a fabulous three course menu.

All Day Dining Menu

The whole of Boulestin is open all day Monday to Friday, from 7am until 10.30pm.  Saturday’s we are open 10am – 10.30pm.

The menu includes some really adventurous and imaginative dishes. Our Head Chef Elliot Spurdle  has created a variety of delicious and healthy recipes, alongside some of the more classic specialties that we know you love.

Among the lighter options we have Tuna Tartare with Avocado Mousse, Compressed Watermelon and Black Sesame Tuile, and there also Quinoa Salad with , Root Vegetables, Apple,  Caramelised Honey & Thyme Dressing. We’ve also Grilled Octopus, with Rhubarb, Clementine Gel, Baby Beetroot and Watercress.

For mains you’ll find a truly superb Assiette de Poussin with Butternut Squash Purée, Baby Leeks, Charred Carrots, and now our ‘Lamb du Jour’, which changes depending on which part of the lamb we have prepared!  We buy our lambs in whole, so each dish is carefully and passionately created by Elliot.

If you’ve a sweet tooth (or even if you haven’t) our Sauternes Custard with Agen Prunes in Armagnac is like nothing else!

Fine Wine By The Glass

Our Coravin system keeps wines in perfect condition, meaning we are now serving by the glass.

We have some fantastic fine wines including Chassagne Montrachet ‘Les Pierres’ Dom JM Pillot 2013 – Delicious apple and white pear flavours with floral undertones.

We’ve also 2009 Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva di Costasera, Masi, Veneto, and a 2012 Barolo Single Vineyard ‘Gallinotto’, Mauro Molino, Piemonte.

Saturday Brunch

Treat yourself on Saturday’s with our fabulous brunch menu, available from 11.30am – 4.30pm! Breakfast menu available 10am – 11.30am.

At Boulestin we  have always tried so hard to do the very best that we can.  With the beautiful orange-yolked Cotswold Legbar eggs for our Benedicts and other egg dishes, the Volcano boutique coffee and the freshly squeezed juices to the unusual (in the UK) Mexican eggs – Huevos Rancheros and Breakfast Burritos.  And the always warmed Croissants, the healthy Smoothies and lighter dishes. There’s also our legendary Tuna Tartare, Duck Confit with Pommes Aligot, and of course our Char-grilled Basque Sirloin.
